The Chemistry laboratory is well equipped with the latest instruments to provide hands-on experience of practicals to the students. The laboratory has all the necessary apparatus for the preparation of samples and standards for various analyses of liquid and solid samples. The equipment includes Oven, Distillation plant, Conductivity bridges, Spectrophotometer, Colorimeters and magnetic stirrer etc. All types of glass apparatus and chemicals used in various experiments are available in the chemistry laboratory. Recently, the department is selected under the strengthening component of DBT Star College Scheme which will facilitate to increase of capabilities of core instrumentation resources by procuring new equipments and upgradation of existing facilities in laboratory. It will also provide more opportunities for exposure of students to different research laboratories and industries in the country.
