The college offers ample scope for students to participate in various games by providing them with good sports infrastructure, expert coaching and attractive incentives to players who get positions at different competition levels in various sports.
The college has standard eight-lane track and play fields for Hockey, Kho- Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, Volleyball etc. These playgrounds, have nurtured national level players in various games, and have proved nurseries for budding players who have border-radius-5ght laurels to the institute by winning positions at state and national level competitions.
Other facilities include a newly constructed stadium named after legendary Sikh Female War Hero “Mai Bhago”. The stadium houses a well equipped gymnasium, a seminar hall with ultra modern infrastructure and an activity room with an arrangement of indoor games to channelize the energy of the students so that they can make proper use of their leisure time.
This structure also houses students’ common room, cafeteria, guestrooms also. The college has remained champion of the Khalsa games for the last six consecutive years. Students enthusiastically participate in intra college, intra university, inter university and national level games like Boxing, Kabbadi, Hockey, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Badminton and and athletics and bring laurels to the college. Our student “Ms. Sarbhjeet Kaur Babbu” has been selected in World Cup Kabbadi team.
Gymnasium : Gymnasium is housed in multipurpose area at basement of Mai Bhago Stadium. It is furnished with twister, leg and arm curling machine, bench press, treadmill and multipurpose mats.
Guest Rooms: The Stadium building also includes 6 guest rooms for resource persons from outside, thus ensuring their comfortable stay.
The College has one fully air conditioned seminar hall with a seating capacity of 200 seats . The hall is equipped with audio-visual aids including roof mounted projector, a display screen, wireless internet connectivity and audio system.
The hall remains occupied for most of the days due to the activities such as seminars, extension lectures, special guest lectures and various interactive sessions held in college. The hall is also utilized for various inter class and inter-department competitions like quizzes , presentations , declamation contests, short duration theatre activities and screening of documentary and other educative films.
The conference hall has a flexible furniture layout. As a result, apart from the routine stage facing layout of the seats, it can have a round table conference layout . The chairs can also be removed and replaced with interlocking synthetic mats for organising Gurmat Sabha and Yoga camps for students..
The Institution has built Mata Tripta Faculty Building which is situated within the campus for residential accommodation of the teaching as well as non teaching staff. It has four fully furnished 2 BHK apartments with 24-hour power and water supply . The faculty house is also equipped with two large solar geysers to supply hot water and one water purifying Reverse Osmosis ( RO ) unit for safe drinking water.
The institute places a great emphasis on security and safety of girl students during their stay in the campus and hostel and entry points . For the above purpose, the college has taken the following measures to provide 24×7 security for the campus: CCTV Surveillance Cameras: To observe the activities in each building, there is adequate number of CCTV cameras with monitoring screen in Principal’s and Hostel warden’s office. Security Personnel : Two gatekeepers and one Armed Guard are deployed at the main gate. Two watchmen are appointed by the college for the security of the college and the hostel.
High Boundary wall: Entire campus has 12-feet high boundary wall for safety. Flood Lights : The campus also has 15 flood lights for adequate light during night for security purposes.
