Program Overview:
M.Sc. Information Technology (IT) is a 2-year course that focuses on making a student technically competent in the theory of Information Technology, its application and research related aspects. The programme aims to make students eligible for IT Industry as well as research programmes.
Eligibility criteria:
A student must have B.C.A or B.Sc(IT) or B.A with (Maths and Computers) with at least 50% marks.
Objectives:
The programme includes software engineering, system development, natural computation, mathematical foundations and artificial intelligence. Other modules include programming, data analytics, software development, applied communications, network architecture, and database design. The coursework of the programme focus on preparing students for innovation within major tech companies or entrepreneurship within startup ventures.
Students are provided with opportunities to develop and hone core competencies in the field of computer science and encourage them to make a mark in the much sought after IT industry.
